Job summary

Medical Mutual is seeking a sales professional to sell custom-designed specialty benefit packages to clients and brokers. The role focuses on establishing broker relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering compelling proposals to meet revenue goals.

Required are a Bachelor's in a related field, 5 years in health/specialty insurance sales, and an Ohio Insurance License. The position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a respected Ohio-based mutual company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or equivalent.
• 5 years progressive experience in health and/or specialty product insurance sales and service.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships with brokers and clients via networking and events.
• Keeps licensure and industry knowledge up to date through education and memberships.
• Educates and advises on specialty benefit packages within assigned territory.
• Interviews prospective clients/brokers to assess needs and goals.
• Develops and delivers sales proposals, closes deals, and finalizes contracts.
• Requests rates from support for proposal processing and participates in sales forecasting.
• Trains and assists junior staff; performs other duties as assigned.
