Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to represent Tavneos across a defined U.S. territory, including Rockville, Reston, and Fredericksburg.

You will educate physicians and healthcare professionals, drive product utilization, and address access and reimbursement challenges through cross-functional teamwork. You will build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, lead business planning, and coordinate field teams to deliver integrated solutions while adhering to compliance and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of sales experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices or hospital sales.
Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience in the same industries.
High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience in the same fields.
Doctorate or Master’s with relevant account management experience are considered.
Pharma account management selling experience is essential; ability to coordinate across field teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet sales objectives.
Promote Tavneos within approved labeling in a compliant manner.
Educate healthcare professionals on disease state and product information.
Build relationships with physicians, nurses, office staff, and infusion centers.
Navigate diverse care settings and address access and reimbursement challenges.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver account-specific solutions.
