Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Permanent Substitute Special Education Teacher to deliver online instruction and manage IEP-driven learning across multiple schools. You will provide support and guidance, track progress, and adapt lessons to student needs in a remote environment.

Requires Bachelor's and state Special Education licensure, plus eligibility to obtain licenses in several states; typical week is 40+ hours, with rotating assignments and time-zone flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active State Special Education teaching license are required.
• You must obtain additional Special Education licenses in a minimum of three states, with up to five preferred by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide online instruction and instruction aligned to IEP goals.
• Collect data and monitor progress toward IEP goals and objectives.
• Communicate with parents and learning coaches about student progress.
• Modify Stride K12 lessons and assessments as specified by the IEP.
• Maintain grade book and document student performance and progress.
• Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
• Support families and learning coaches with curricular issues in a virtual classroom.
