Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Permanent Substitute Special Education Teacher to deliver online content, support students, and manage learning aligned with IEPs across multiple states. The role requires licensure in several states and frequent travel between schools within a rotating 6–12 week timeframe.

Strong flexibility and independent work in a remote setting are essential. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and state SPED licenses, with additional licenses in 3–5 states

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active State Special Education teaching license.
• You must obtain additional Special Education licenses in a minimum of three states by your first day of employment as determined by Stride.
• Ability to clear required background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to students in an online environment.
• Adapt lessons and assessments to IEP goals and accommodations.
• Maintain accurate student progress data and communicate with families/learning coaches.
• Deliver synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences and monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to interpret data and drive instructional decisions.
• Ensure all special education services are provided as determined by the IEP team.
