Propio Language Services is seeking Remote Spanish Contract Interpreters for its OnDemand PropioONE service. The role requires consecutive interpretation, confidentiality, and adherence to ethics in multiple domains including medical and legal contexts.

Applicants should submit an English resume, demonstrate ILR level 3 technical proficiency, and pass Propio's mock oral interpretation and medical terminology assessments, plus a background check.

Qualifications

• Submit updated resume in English at time of application.
• English proficiency: ILR level 3 or higher (technical proficiency).
• Pass mock oral interpretation session.
• Complete Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology assessment with passing score.
• Complete a full Background Check and Security Screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
• Preferred: 1+ years interpreting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and client requirements.
• Follows Propio Language Services policies related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary for medical, legal, social services contexts.
