Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a Legal Intern to gain hands-on exposure to commercial space law, regulatory policy, and government contracts while working remotely with experienced attorneys and regulatory specialists.

The role supports licensing, contracts, NDAs, and export controls across commercial space and national security programs. You will contribute to research, drafting, and regulatory filings, with mentorship and an emphasis on real-world impact within a fast-growing startup focused on

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping
