Job summary

Cosmic Shielding Corporation seeks a Sales and Business Development Manager to drive growth in commercial space and defense markets. The role involves engaging customers, building quotes, coordinating with product and engineering teams, and guiding programs from evaluation to production.

You will work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to expand accounts, pursue government opportunities, and advance strategic partnerships, with travel and remote collaboration as part of the job.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, space or another relevant technical market.
• Experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing technical work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a full commercial sales cycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field; an engineering or technical background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and close new commercial space and defense customers.
• Own opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through quote, qualification, purchase order, and repeat business.
• Drive sample and evaluation programs toward qualification and production.
• Manage customer follow-up, quotes, pricing coordination, and commercial execution.
• Expand existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional products and programs.
