Job summary

MentorAPM is seeking a remote Solutions Engineer for Water, Wastewater, and Industrial markets. You will partner with regional sales, own discovery, demonstrations, PoCs, and technical validation from first call to contract signature.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a pre-sales or technical consulting role for asset and condition management SaaS.
• Able to translate operational problems into product solutions for municipal and industrial buyers.
• Proven ability to deliver technical demonstrations and lead discovery with ops, maintenance, and engineering stakeholders.
• Familiar with asset management concepts and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery across municipal utility and industrial accounts to map fit, gaps, and solution design.
• Deliver tailored MentorLENS demonstrations configured to asset types, workflows, and compliance needs.
• Scope and manage proof-of-concept engagements and define success criteria with customers.
• Respond to RFPs, security questionnaires, and integration requirements.
• Build and maintain demo environments, regional use cases, and reference materials.
• Collaborate with regional sales engineers on deal strategy and technical objections.
• Support post-sale handoff to implementation and ensure realistic customer expectations.
• Provide structured product feedback to engineering from field patterns.
