Matia is hiring a Solutions Engineer to join our US GTM field engineering team. You will bridge Sales, Product and Customer Success, owning the technical win during the sales cycle and ensuring customers deploy and derive value from Matia post-sale.

This role targets a technically-minded problem solver with 4+ years in Solutions Engineering, a strong command of SQL and the Modern Data Stack, and the ability to explain complex concepts to both engineers and executives in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL and Modern Data Stack knowledge across ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing, Data Observability, and Data Governance.
• Problem-solving mindset with logs, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to engineers and executives clearly.
• Grit to thrive in a fast-paced, Series A startup.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical demonstrations tailored to client challenges and data environments.
• Own POCs: define success criteria and guide customers through technical evaluations.
• Create architecture mappings and reusable assets showing Matia integration with the data stack.
• Lead technical onboarding and provide front-line support post-sale.
• Collaborate with Product and GTM to share field feedback and drive content.
