Job summary

Portside is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support pre-sales for aviation operators, translating technical capabilities into business value. You will work with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver demos and drive POCs.

The ideal candidate has SaaS pre-sales experience, strong presentation skills, and fluency with APIs and integrations, plus a hands-on, customer-facing technical mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in a Solutions Engineer or similar pre-sales role.
• Ability to translate complex product concepts to business value.
• Experience with SaaS products and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver tailored product demos mapping Portside's platform to prospect use cases.
• Lead technical discovery and collect requirements.
• Own POC engagements and coordinate internal resources.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with clear technical answers.
• Build and maintain demo environments and scripts.
• Serve as the technical voice of the customer to Product and Engineering.
• Stay current on product releases and industry trends.
• Support onboarding of new Sales Executives on product positioning.
