Job summary

Intelligems seeks a Solutions Engineer to own the technical relationship with customers from the first conversation through expansion. You will work with Sales to remove blockers, Onboarding to ensure successful implementation, and Customer Success to identify expansion opportunities.

The role requires deep technical understanding of Shopify, headless architectures, and integration work, with a focus on turning commercial goals into practical technical paths.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management role, or a customer-facing technical role with commercial outcomes.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a product with hands-on implementation or integration work.
• Comfortable across a full customer lifecycle and collaboration with Sales & Customer Success teams.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
• Nice to have: Experience with A/B testing, pricing tools, or personalization platforms.
• Familiarity with headless commerce architectures or custom Shopify implementations.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong preference for Pacific or Mountain time zone.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical pre-sale motion with deals that have complexity or custom architecture.
• Lead technical discovery to map a customer’s stack and required implementation.
• Remove technical objections and translate requirements into a path to launch.
• Support onboarding adoption goals by removing blockers during platform learning.
• Identify accounts for revenue expansion through new solutioning with CS.
