Job summary

RevPilots Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting a RevPilots client.

You will act as the primary technical partner for enterprise prospects, owning the technical outcomes and partnering with Account Executives to drive complex sales cycles. This role focuses on technical discovery, architecture design, and executive-level value articulation, with a strong emphasis on AI-powered commerce and API-first integrations.

Qualifications

8+ years in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, or enterprise tech consulting.
Experience in commerce, retail, payments, or digital experience platforms preferred.
Strong technical foundation across cloud architectures, SaaS and API-first platforms, data and AI/ML (LLMs a plus), payments and checkout systems, and omnichannel retail integrations.
Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
Willingness to travel within your region (up to 30%).

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery to understand customer challenges, tech stack, and priorities.
Define and achieve the technical close in GTM motions with resolved objections and confirmed feasibility.
Engage with CIOs, CTOs, and eCommerce leaders as a credible advisor.
Lead product demos, proofs-of-concept, and workshops tailored to customer priorities.
Shape complex eCommerce solution architectures, including integrations across cloud platforms and APIs.
Develop executive-level value articulation linking tech to business outcomes.
Lead responses to RFPs and security questionnaires.
Log objections and feedback to product teams; stay current on AI and commerce trends.
