Job summary

Aon is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join its Consumer Benefits Solutions team. This remote role supports the sales process from prospecting through renewal discussions, articulating product value to clients, and coordinating carrier evaluations.

The role requires 3+ years in employee benefits, strong project management and cross-functional collaboration, and excellent communication skills. Competitive benefits and incentive plans are offered.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of employee benefits industry experience.
• Three plus years managing project schedules.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Maintains subject matter expertise on Voluntary Benefit products and Voluntary Benefit carriers.
• Maintains expertise in proprietary and 3rdparty Benefits Administration systems.
• Articulates and communicates value proposition and key differentiators.
• Develops a high level working knowledge of other practice area solutions.
• Collaborates with Sales Leaders to communicate market knowledge and sales process and to keep abreast of operations.
• Partners with practice consulting arm to strengthen integration.
• Educates Sales Consultants on strategies, solutions, and industry changes.
• Maintains RFP Content.
• Partners with internal partners for RFP requests to ensure a streamlined process.
• Assists Sales Leaders in developing prospect sales strategy.
• Defines the scope for engagements.
• Delivers a strong value-based message on opportunities.
• Leads system demonstrations in sales meetings.
• Prepares follow up client questions and responses with Sales Leaders.
• Performs due diligence to scope work and provide input for opportunities.
• Reviews discovery documents and tailors materials and demos.
• Collaborates on Carrier and Product Selection.
• Assists on Contract/SOW creation and execution.
