Job summary

Airalo seeks a versatile Solution Architect/Technical Business Analyst to lead localization and system integration of our Global MVNO Core. You will translate regional mandates into actionable engineering tasks and guide Core Network Engineers to ensure compliant, scalable interconnectivity across multiple countries.

You’ll drive requirement discovery with local MNOs and regulators, define acceptance criteria, and balance regulatory constraints with architectural goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect in telecom/tech.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory documents into engineering tasks.
• Comfort discussing SIP, SMS routing, MNP databases with engineers.
• Skilled at writing clear User Stories, Functional Specs, and Jira tickets.
• Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
• Ability to liaison between legal, product, and engineering teams.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as the conduit between regulatory findings and Core Network team, translating mandates into functional requirements.
• Lead requirement discovery workshops with MNOs, regulators, and internal teams to define scope and approach.
• Compare local regulatory needs with platform capabilities; identify enhancements and phased delivery.
• Create high-level technical workflows for regulatory services (e.g., MNP, Lawful Interception).
• Define data points and reporting frequencies required by local authorities, ensuring data extraction tools exist.
• Lead acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and sign-off to satisfy country-specific hurdles.
• Manage the technical-regulatory checklist for multiple countries, capturing dependencies for sprints.
• Coordinate with local databases and external partners to ensure interworking specs meet QoS mandates.
