Job summary

Airalo is seeking a versatile Solution Architect to lead localized adaptation and system integration of our Global MVNO Core. You will bridge engineering sprints with regional mandates, ensuring the platform meets local market needs and interconnectivity specs.

You will mentor analysts, define acceptance criteria, and coordinate with regulators, MNOs, and partners to drive compliant, scalable delivery across countries.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect.
• Synthesize complex regulatory documents into actionable engineering tasks.
• Discuss SIP, SMS routing, and MNP databases with engineers.
• Write clear User Stories and Functional Specs; manage Jira tickets.
• Interest in international roaming and interconnectivity across markets.
• Create structured technical documentation and flowcharts.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Act as liaison between legal, product and engineering teams.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary conduit between regulatory findings and the Core Network team.
• Lead requirement discovery workshops with local MNOs and regulators.
• Compare local regulatory requirements with platform capabilities and propose enhancements.
• Create high‑level workflows for regulatory services to guide engineering.
• Define data exchange requirements for number portability and voice/SMS routing.
• Identify data reporting needs for authorities and ensure tooling exists.
• Lead acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and sign‑off for regulatory hurdles.
• Manage technical‑regulatory checklists across countries with risk escalation.
• Coordinate with local databases and external partners for interworking readiness.
• Mentor Solution Analysts on user stories, specs, and traceability.
• Provide functional leadership to balance compliance, scalability, and maintainability.
