Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Consumer Packaged Goods sector to lead the technical strategy across complex accounts, guiding architecture discussions and driving platform adoption.

You will collaborate with customer architects and cross-functional teams to design scalable data pipelines, real-time analytics, and ML/AI workloads on the Databricks Platform, while translating technical detail into business value for executives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent
• Strong live coding in Python and SQL
• Expertise in distributed data systems architecture (pipelines, streaming, lakehouse)
• Experience deploying on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Able to translate complex architectures to business value
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to deployment
• Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects and engineering leads
• Drive technical wins with custom-built solutions in competitive scenarios
• Coordinate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SSAs, Partners) to deliver solutions
• Influence product direction with customer requirements and competitive gaps
