Job summary

Databricks seeks a Solutions Architect (L5) to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions, driving platform adoption, and serving as a trusted technical advisor to customer leads and architects.

You will design scalable, production-grade solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, while developing a domain specialization for the team and coordinating cross-functional resources to meet complex needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical roles.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with hands-on coding ability.
• Expertise in distributed data systems, pipelines and lakehouse patterns.
• Experience deploying on public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors as a trusted advisor.
• Drive technical wins with custom-built solutions showing Databricks differentiation.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Influence product direction by providing feedback on customer requirements.
