Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (L5) to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer architects and engineering leads.

Candidates should have 6+ years in architecture or senior tech roles, strong Python and SQL skills, and deep distributed data systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or related senior technical role.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; ability to live-code, debug, and build solutions.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems, pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns.
• Experience deploying on public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent communication to translate architectures for technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
