Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect (L5) to lead the technical strategy for customers, steering architecture discussions and driving platform adoption across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.

You will partner with customer leads to position Databricks as the foundation of their data and AI strategy and develop an emerging technical specialization within the team. You will own end-to-end technical strategy, orchestrate cross-functional resources, and influence product

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, or similar
Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging
Deep expertise in distributed data systems and lakehouse patterns
Proficiency with the Databricks Platform and cloud deployments
Ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders
Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or quantitative discipline

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment
Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics
Serve as trusted advisor to customer architects and engineering leads
Demonstrate Databricks differentiation through custom-built solutions
Develop technical specialization and become go-to resource in domain
Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver complex solutions
Influence product direction with customer feedback and gaps
