Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Solution Architect for Fulfillment Integrations. This remote contract role focuses on designing and delivering enterprise API integrations that connect client platforms with external retailer systems within the Fulfillment Network.

The candidate will translate business requirements into scalable integration architectures, lead discovery sessions, and guide projects from design through launch while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Integration Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise API integrations between internal and external systems.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, data flows, and distributed application architectures.
• Experience leading technical discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design workshops with clients or external partners.
• Ability to read, understand, and discuss application code and technical implementations with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering sessions with external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Design end-to-end integration architectures between client platforms and external retailer systems.
• Create and maintain solution design documents, architecture diagrams, workflow models, technical specifications, and implementation artifacts.
• Serve as the primary technical representative throughout the integration lifecycle, from scoping and design through implementation and launch.
• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams responsible for implementation.
• Review integration designs, data flows, APIs, and system interactions to ensure alignment with architectural standards and business objectives.
• Conduct technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, and design reviews with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support testing, deployment, launch readiness, and post-launch stabilization activities before transitioning projects to operational support teams.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful project execution.
