Job summary

Jobot Consulting is seeking a dynamic Permanent Solar Project Manager to join our national energy team. You will oversee commercial solar projects from conception through completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to quality standards.

Based remotely with occasional site travel, you will coordinate engineers, contractors, vendors, and customers, develop schedules and budgets, and manage safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in solar project management on 1-10mw sites.
• Strong knowledge of solar technology, construction, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of solar projects from planning to operation.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans and ensure adherence.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Conduct site visits to assess feasibility and risks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor progress and report status to senior management.
• Manage contracts, permits, and technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts promptly.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
