Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking a remote Technical Support and Project Engineer to be a key member of the service team. You will serve as the initial contact for customers and partners in commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar and storage projects.

Responsibilities include phone support, accurate documentation, and high-quality technical assistance for solar inverters and site functions. Hybrid communication and proactive problem-solving are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Solar industry experiences are required.
• PV Energy Storage system-related experiences are desired.
• Technical problem solving/analytical skills.
• Self-starter and an excellent communicator.
• Organization, detail-oriented nature, and strong initiative.
• Strong technical support focus and a service-oriented individual with Sales team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone support with active listening and empathetic customer care.
• Document issues accurately in the ticketing system and via email.
• Offer high-quality end-user technical support for solar inverters and site functions.
• Apply solar industry knowledge to support existing systems and products.
• Maintain professionalism and clear communication with customers over calls and email.
• Create a positive customer experience and build rapport with customers.
• Escalate or resolve issues with strong problem-solving and next steps.
• Collaborate with warehouse/operations teams to ensure SOP adherence and accuracy.
• Communicate status and impact of issues to customers and internal teams.
