Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking a Technical Support and Project Engineer for a remote position. You will be the key member of the service team and the initial contact for customers and partners across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar and battery plants.

You will deliver high-quality technical support for solar inverters and site functions, document issues, collaborate with warehouse and sales teams, and participate in training to expand product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Solar industry experiences are required.
• PV Energy Storage system-related experiences are desired.
• Technical problem solving/analytical skills.
• Self-starter and an excellent communicator.
• System and product level mindset.
• Organization, detail-oriented nature, and strong initiative.
• Strong technical support focus and a service-oriented individual both with Sales team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and written support to customers with empathy and urgency.
• Document issues accurately in ticketing system and emails.
• Provide high-quality end-user technical support for solar inverters and site functions.
• Understand solar technical terms and apply knowledge to support systems.
• Maintain professional communication with customers via phone and email.
• Escalate issues as needed and propose next steps.
• Support warehouse teams and ensure SOP adherence.
• Communicate status and impact to customers and internal teams.
