Job summary

CompTech, a Dayton, OH–based service-oriented PM and technical firm, seeks a Software Systems Engineer to sustain and optimize the DocuSign CLM for the DLA. You will design, develop, test, and document enterprise solutions, and develop APIs to support reporting and data sharing.

The role requires an Active Secret clearance, 8+ years in software engineering, and experience with CLM, APIs, and DoD cybersecurity standards. Remote work option and full benefits included.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with DocuSign CLM.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise software.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience developing or supporting APIs and web services.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Sustain, maintain, and optimize the DAAS ALMS with focus on DocuSign CLM.
• Analyze requirements and translate into functional/technical specs.
• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain enterprise software.
• Develop API and data integration solutions for reporting and sharing.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Support testing, deployments, upgrades, and release management.
• Create technical docs and system design materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, admins, and project teams to deliver solutions.
• Ensure security and DoD cyber compliance.
