Redwire is seeking a Software Project Engineer to provide program-level technical coordination across multiple engineering teams and subsystems in a fully remote US role. You will drive the integration strategy, ensure alignment across hardware, software, systems, avionics, test, and manufacturing, and mentor the PE team to meet program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or STEM.
• 7+ years of experience delivering software initiatives through project engineering, technical program coordination or engineering operations.
• Experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary engineering efforts with significant integration scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical integration across multiple subsystems or vehicle-level engineering efforts.
• Develop and maintain the engineering execution plan with multi-workstream schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment through structured coordination cadences across hardware, software, systems, avionics, test, and manufacturing.
• Own technical readiness for engineering reviews (CoDR, PDR, CDR, TRR) with entry/exit criteria.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables spanning multiple IPTs or disciplines to ensure consistency.
