Job summary

For2020now is seeking a motivated Software Developer Intern to join our fast-growing IT team, offering a fully remote opportunity. You will gain hands-on experience with a modern web development stack by supporting our core team, clearing the ticketing backlog, and owning a significant project.

This internship includes exposure to engineering operations, a competitive hourly salary ranging from $19 to $25, and direct mentorship from experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Solid foundational understanding and some hands-on project experience with web development.
• Ability to articulate complex technical workflows into clear documentation.
• Eager to learn from senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Help design, develop, and deploy the internal reporting and data visualization server.
• Audit and write clear documentation of development practices.
• Assist in implementing new features for main applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix software bugs.
• Partner with departments to understand data requirements.

Skills

Familiarity with PHP and modern MVC frameworks (ideally Laravel)

Understanding of relational SQL-based databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Basic understanding of Docker

Ability to write clean, structured documentation

Strong analytical mindset

Excellent written communication skills

Highly self-motivated
