Toro TMS is seeking an Engineering Manager who loves building teams and products. You will be hands-on in code and in growing people, while ensuring product quality. This is a remote, US-based full-time role where engineering, product, and design operate as equal partners.

You will work with a small, high-bar team to shape the roadmap, drive delivery, and foster strong communication across disciplines. Join us to move loads faster with a modern TMS.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and React.
• Experience in a remote-first environment.
• 2+ years of direct management experience.
• Ability to build fast and ship features regularly.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn trucking domain and talk to customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the engineering team.
• Collaborate with Product and Design on roadmap and delivery.
• Be hands-on in code while mentoring engineers.
• Ship features weekly and drive quality and velocity.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional discussions.
