Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Software Engineering Manager (Remote) to lead an engineering team delivering scalable software solutions for a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment. You will partner with Product and Design to shape an ambitious roadmap, remove delivery blockers, and drive execution with clear goals and data-driven visibility.

This role emphasizes technical leadership, talent development, and cross-functional communication with executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year leading an engineering team.
Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
Strong communication and collaboration with product and design.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and technical expertise within the engineering organization.
Build and lead teams to deliver software while adhering to best practices.
Clarify technical requirements and manage projects to ensure timely delivery.
Clear or upscale blockers to accelerate delivery progress.
Collaborate with Product and Design partners to create an ambitious roadmap.
Drive team execution by setting clear objectives and using data for transparency.
Provide updates on KPIs and project status to executives and stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, or extend solutions.
Assist in recruiting and onboarding diverse engineering talent.
