Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Expected to have completed the third year of undergraduate study before start
• Coursework in programming, software development, data structures, algorithms, databases

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing, and delivery of Lyric's software platform
• Work on modernization initiatives involving .NET, APIs, databases, cloud tech, and web apps
• Develop and test RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable architectures
• Contribute to front-end development using Angular, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Gain experience with SQL Server and data modeling, queries, performance, and integrity
• Use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, debugging, and documentation
• Learn to evaluate AI-generated code and apply human judgment before integration
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies
• Develop automated unit and integration tests and learn CI/CD practices
• Identify, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Gain exposure to Azure and/or AWS and cloud deployment, monitoring, and operation
• Learn observability, logging, monitoring, and telemetry for health checks
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, UX, DevOps, QA and others to translate requirements
• Apply secure software development practices protecting healthcare and customer info
• Maintain technical documentation for projects and deliverables
• Deliver a defined internship project and present results to leadership
