Job summary

Lyric is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to modernization efforts across full-stack development, APIs, and cloud technologies. You will work with experienced engineers on RESTful services, front-end tasks, and data handling in a healthcare-focused platform.

This 12-week program targets students who have completed their third year in CS/SE and aims to build real production software while teaching AI-assisted coding practices and rigorous code review. Remote-US options available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field with third-year completion.
• Completed coursework in programming, data structures, and databases.
• Foundational programming experience from coursework or projects.
• Familiarity with modern languages and Git/GitHub.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and maintaining code quality.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing, and delivery of Lyric software.
• Work on modernization initiatives with .NET, APIs, cloud tech, and web apps.
• Develop and test RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable architecture.
• Partake in front-end work using Angular/React and TypeScript.
• Gain experience with SQL Server, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Explore AI-assisted development tools and code evaluation practices.
