Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to contribute to a fast-growing Ads and Marketplace backend, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable services.

You will balance speed and quality, own parts of the codebase, review others' work, and communicate clearly with a global engineering team. Prior experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python or Kotlin is expected, along with building backend systems at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in production
• Backend systems design, development and scaling
• Ability to translate simple problems into multi-component solutions
• Comfort navigating large code bases and giving constructive feedback
