Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute across the development life cycle—design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software used by internal teams and external customers. You will work with business analysts and product managers to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and can collaborate in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile)
• Ability to model requirements and translate them into design
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes existing ones
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components
• Demonstrates understanding of One Call systems and the workers' compensation industry
