One Call is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute across design, coding, testing, and support for software used by internal partners and customers. You will collaborate with analysts, product managers, and engineers to deliver tasks on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes a remote-friendly, home-based setup with SDLC adherence, documentation, and potential leadership of peers as needed. Entry to mid-level experience is expected with a focus on collaborative delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support on defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards.
• Develops program logic for new applications or updates existing logic.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Ensures system improvements are implemented successfully.
• Participates in planning and analysis phases of SD projects.
• Writes technical specifications and documentation.
• Suggests technical alternatives and streamlines processes.
