Job summary

Arkatechture is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Arkalytics - Support team, focusing on data warehousing, analytics, and platform reliability. This remote-friendly role blends software development with cloud operations and customer support to resolve production issues and deliver durable solutions.

You will work with engineers, customers, and product experts to improve stability, performance, and scalability of our platform while contributing to code reviews and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing for AWS and cloud environments.
• Strong Python and SQL with production debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across the Arkalytics platform.
• Develop software enhancements, bug fixes, and automation to improve stability.
• Investigate application, database, and cloud infra issues in AWS environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Build and maintain clean, reliable, well-tested code.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.
• Participate in Tier 2/3 production support and on-call rotations.
• Contribute to system documentation and process improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose platform improvements.
