Job summary
Canonical is seeking a Software Engineer for Ceph & Distributed Storage. Based remotely in EMEA or the Americas, you will build modelling software for OpenStack, Ceph, and Kubernetes with a focus on distributed storage and scalability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM or similar required.
- Proficient in modern, maintainable Python code.
- Experience with Ceph storage is required.
- Interest in distributed storage and open source ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Write high quality Python and Golang software.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team.
- Debug issues and produce high quality code.
- Contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
- Discuss ideas and collaborate on solutions.
- Develop and maintain software for delivery, operations, and lifecycle management of Ceph storage.
