One Call is seeking a Software Engineer in a Boston-area role. This entry-level position focuses on designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting software used by internal partners and external customers.

You will collaborate with business analysts and product managers to ensure timely delivery, while adhering to One Call SDLC standards. The role is remote-first with strong growth potential and a focus on delivering value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile)
• Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition
• Excellent customer service skills for internal/external customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication for technical/non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Develops program logic for new applications
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications
• Writes technical specifications and documentation
• Suggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems
• Completes project assignments and planning/forecasting activities
