Humana is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, test, and support production applications with exposure to Epic or similar healthcare platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in production.
• Hands-on experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining software in production.
• Experience using Claude or comparable AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, documentation, and analysis.
• Ability to review AI-generated code and ensure technical quality.
• Experience with source control, PRs, code reviews, branching strategies, and SDLC practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or iterative development.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and translating findings into reliable solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated achievement in improving performance, reducing defects, automating processes, or accelerating delivery.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable software applications based on requirements.
• Use Claude and AI tools to assist coding, testing, and documentation while upholding security standards.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Support integration or enhancement within Epic or similar healthcare platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, implement fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute clean, maintainable code.
