Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead engineering for payment services in the Finance & Insurance space. This remote role shapes the technical roadmap, drives delivery practices, and partners with product, partner, and engineering stakeholders to deliver strong customer outcomes.

You will guide strategy, grow high-performance teams, and ensure security, quality, and compliance while accelerating time to market.

Qualifications

6+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in engineering management.
Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in writing automation tests and understanding the test pyramid.
Strong grasp of security and compliance in cloud environments.
Excellent leadership and dynamic decision‑making skills.
Ability to thrive amid ambiguity in fast‑paced settings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
