Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a development team responsible for the core product. You will partner with analysts, product stakeholders, and support teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, while guiding architecture, code reviews, and SDLC governance.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring, and delivery of high-quality features in a cloud environment with agile practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
8+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in AVP or equivalent.
Strong OO programming and relational database concepts.
2+ years of people management experience.
Expert C# and SQL skills; experience with .NET/ASP.NET.
Hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, ADO and microservice architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a software development team delivering new features for the core product.
Collaborate with analysts, product stakeholders, and support teams to translate business needs.
Oversee design, code quality, release readiness, and production support.
Evaluate new tools and approaches to improve capability and efficiency.
Provide technical leadership, architecture input, code reviews, and coaching.
Mentor direct reports with regular feedback and career development.
Plan workload, remove obstacles and ensure timely delivery with quality.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
