Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Leader to drive architecture, delivery, and performance across the core product. You will guide a team, collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, and shape technical strategy.

Responsibilities include mentoring, design oversight, and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions in a remote-capable environment. Strong C#, AWS, and .NET experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent
• Minimum 8+ years of industry or relevant experience, incl. 2+ years AVP-level
• Minimum 7 years in software development preferred
• Strong OO programming and relational DB concepts
• Minimum 2+ years as a people manager
• Expert in C# and SQL/Databases
• Significant .NET Framework experience (ASP.NET preferred)
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes & ADO
• Experience with C# and AI tools (Claude & Cursor)
• MySQL, SQL and DocumentDB expertise
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with Agile & DevOps

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a software development team responsible for design, development, testing, and delivery of core features.
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Oversee design quality, release readiness, and production support for reliable software.
• Guide proofs of concept and evaluations of new tools and approaches.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, reviews, and engineering best practices coaching.
• Mentor and develop direct reports with feedback and career development.
• Plan and prioritize workload, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
