System One is hiring a Sodium Fire Design and Analysis Engineer with at least 10 years of nuclear-field experience for a long-term, fully remote contract. You will develop sodium fire modeling methodologies, perform commercial-grade dedication of modeling codes, and run calculations to support design and licensing.

You will work with nuclear safety analysts to meet regulatory requirements, contribute to hazard analyses and PIRT exercises, and help establish containment strategies.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in the nuclear field required.
• In-depth knowledge of sodium reactions, thermal-hydraulic, reactor dynamics.
• Experience with saffolding sodium fire analysis using the listed codes is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop methodologies to model sodium chemical reactions.
• Develop methodologies for aerosol generation and transport from sodium fires.
• Perform commercial grade dedication of sodium fire modeling codes.
• Develop analytical models to simulate sodium fire impact.
• Support regulatory submittals and NRC interactions.
• Documentation of model development and analysis results.
