Job summary

Valnet Tech Sites is seeking a highly organized Social Media Specialist to join our remote team on a 1099 freelance basis. You will own and scale the daily social footprint for a selection of tech brands, collaborating with editors and fellow coordinators to drive traffic and community growth.

You will craft platform-tailored captions, manage content across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, BlueSky, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and monitor performance to optimize reach.

• Proven experience managing major social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, X, BlueSky, TikTok.
• Strong ability to develop creative hooks and overarching growth strategies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to premium quality.

Responsibilities

• Own, execute, and scale the daily social footprint for assigned brands.
• Collaborate with Editorial to align workflows and respond to fast-breaking updates.
• Write engaging, platform-tailored captions and copy for each brand voice.
• Utilize the TrueAnthem scheduling tool and Media Library to organize content assets.
• Track and grow performance metrics across all active social channels.
• Monitor comments and audience sentiment, and engage with the community.
• Prepare a recurring performance recap with results, learnings, and next steps.
