Advocate Health seeks a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to support community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and CSR initiatives. You will help plan events, track social impact metrics, and assist with communications related to community programs.

The internship runs May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours/week, largely remote for eligible states. Ideal for students in Public Relations, Communications, or nonprofit fields seeking hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
• Help track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives.
• Conduct research on social issues, community needs, and best practices.
• Assist with grant applications, sponsorship requests, and donation tracking.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives.
• Gain experience in community engagement and CSR strategy.
