Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a passionate Social Impact & Community Relations Intern for a May 31, 2027 – August 6, 2027 program. The internship offers hands-on experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing relevant degrees (Public Relations, Communications, Social Work, Nonprofit Management). No prior experience is required, and interns will gain mentorship while supporting community initiatives and CSR efforts

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning community outreach programs and events.
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
• Track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
