Advocate Health is offering a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern position for a May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027 period. This remote internship requires junior/senior standing in Public Relations or related fields and focuses on community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and CSR reporting.

You will gain hands-on experience in program development, event planning, and impact reporting while supporting partnerships with local nonprofits and schools.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• Grade point average of at least 2.5.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
• Support program development, event planning, and impact reporting.
• Help track social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Assist with internal/external communications for initiatives.
• Research social issues, community needs, and best practices.
• Support grant applications, sponsorships, and donations tracking.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives.
• Develop skills in event planning and CSR strategy.
• Understand the role of business in driving social change.
