Advocate Health is seeking a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to support community engagement, program development, and impact reporting. This remote internship runs May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

The role offers hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, event planning, grant support, and partnership development with local nonprofits and schools. Open to students pursuing PR, communications, social work, or nonprofit management.

Qualifikationen

• Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
• Help track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives.
• Conduct research on social issues, community needs, and best practices.
• Assist with grant applications, sponsorship requests, and donation tracking.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives.
• Gain experience in community engagement and CSR strategy.
• Develop skills in event planning, stakeholder communication, and impact reporting.
• Understand the role of businesses in driving social change.
