Job summary

Darkroom is seeking a skilled Video Editor for its remote Marketing Team. You will transform raw content into platform-native videos for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn, crafting compelling hooks and using motion graphics to boost reach and engagement.

You will collaborate with the Video Lead and Design Director, building a scalable production system and adapting quickly to platform shifts, with a focus on performance-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of experience editing content for social-first brands, creators, or agencies.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and rhythm for social platforms.
• Able to edit for performance across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and other formats.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce standout content across short-form and long-form formats.
• Create native formats for IG, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
• Apply hooks, overlays, captions, sound design and motion graphics.
• Turn voice notes, podcasts, webinars into polished content.
• Collaborate with Video Lead on edits, structure, and narrative framing.
