Job summary

CapsLock is seeking a Social Media Video Editor & Designer to produce platform-first content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will turn raw footage into polished videos with strong pacing, storytelling, and transitions, and also craft supporting graphics, thumbnails, and overlays.

Collaborate with the social media team to align content with brand guidelines and marketing goals, while staying current with trends and platform best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing and social content experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video editing and motion graphics.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and/or DaVinci Resolve.
• Graphic design skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
• Solid understanding of TikTok, Instagram and Facebook formats.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook with strong hooks and pacing.
• Turn raw footage into polished social content using cuts, captions, transitions, music, voiceovers, SFX, and VFX.
• Adapt content for different platforms, aspect ratios, and technical requirements.
• Create motion graphics and supporting design assets (overlays, thumbnails, posts).
• Collaborate with the social media team to review performance and iterate on creatives.
