Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a SNAP Quality Assurance Consultant to analyze eligibility operations, QA processes, and performance data for state agencies. You will observe, review, and translate findings into actionable improvements, training, and policy clarifications on multiple projects.

The role requires deep SNAP policy knowledge, extensive QA experience, and strong communication to coach clients and teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years supervising SNAP staff or completing SNAP quality assurance activities.
Experience in consulting and/or training strongly preferred.
Strong communicator with ability to coach and advise clients.

Responsibilities

Observe and analyze current state eligibility operations and case processing.
Review QC findings and identify root causes of payment errors.
Translate QC findings into training, policy clarifications, or system/process changes.
Perform in-depth case reviews to identify root causes of errors.
Identify measures to reduce payment errors and improve efficiency.
Develop tools to conduct quality assurance activities and prioritize error-prone cases.
Advise agency leaders on implementation and change management.
Coach supervisors and eligibility staff on process enhancements.
