Job summary

Slateedutech offers a fully remote unpaid internship for high school and college students interested in software testing and educational technology. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience with quality assurance for our School Management System, flexible hours, and mentorship from experienced QA engineers.

Responsibilities include testing platform features, documenting bugs, and collaborating with developers. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, can work independently, and are available for 15-25 hours per week. Academic credit may be coordinated with your educational institution.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school (grades 11‑12) or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures.
• Good written communication skills for bug reporting and documentation.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.
• Basic knowledge of software testing concepts is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Test SMS features across different modules.
• Create and execute test cases for user registration and core features.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile interfaces.
• Document bugs using the bug tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes.
